"Architect Jean Aubert was commissioned by the Peyrene family in 1728. Since 1788, it has kept the nam of the marshal Duc de Biron. After many changes in ownership, beginning in 1904, houses were quick built on the estate and became the homes of artists Opened in 1919, 2 year after the artist's death. Rodin great art is displayed in the garden (The Thinker, The Doors of Hell, Balzac, The Bourgeois of Calais ...). Rodin was also an excellent drawer & 8000 drawings are the property of the museum .
