Created in 1938, this museum is situated in the West wing of the Chaillot Palace which was built for the World’s Fair of 1937. The Neo-Roman Style is monumental and moderne.The museum offers a vast synthesis of human sciences : anthropology, prehistor and ethnology. It relates the human race evolution since its origins, and proposes a geographic tour, area by area. We can see the greats prehistorics discoveries and a rich collection from the American continent.
