"The actual church is built on an ancient merovingienne basilic, the choir has been consecrated in 1429, and the church was completed in the XVIth century. During the Second Empire, Haussmann decided to line the church up in the Boulevard de Strasbourg, then the classical facade was replaced by a neo-gothic one. In 1865, the City of Paris ordered severals statues for the portal."
